Christ's Church of Scottsdale's Community Care

Welcome to CCS Community Care! A place where everybody can make a difference. On a daily basis we all deal with a growing number of people who are hurting, in need, and may be down to their last rope. It may be a friend, a co-worker, a stranger, or even you who is in need but are to scared or proud to speak up. This anonymous site will give you a voice and others a chance to listen and act. Daily we will post needs brought to the church and possible solutions that we can all get involved in. Think of this as a giant prayer request database that God has called us all to respond to. It could be clothes, food, help moving, emergency house repairs and yard work, items for a mission trip, kitchen items or just basic acts of service..... Just think of all the extra items we have around the house or special services we can offer to those whose lives could be changed. The one thing we ask is that you pray before you act. God will lead your heart to do his work.

TO REPORT A NEED OR TO BE ADDED TO OUR EMAIL LIST SEND AN EMAIL TO:

NOTE: This orginization will do everything in it's power to fulfill requested needs but we are not liable for needs that go unmet or for goods and services received.

NEED

I am writing to tell you about a family that we are helping out- their apartment burned down a few weeks ago and they lost everything. It is a family of 8- mother, father, grandmother, uncle, and 4 children (2 twin boys each aged 4 ½ years, a 2 ½ year old girl, and a 4 month old girl). We have been able to find new housing for them and they will be moving into their new home tomorrow, but there are some immediate needs. Please let me know if you are able to help out with any of the following:

· Furniture (beds, couches, tables, chairs, etc)

· Clothes

o Mother (small or medium shirt, size 1 pants)

o Father (large shirt, 32/32 pants)

o Grandmother

o Uncle (xlarge shirt, 34/32 pants)

o Twin boys 4 and a half yrs old (5t)

o 2 and a half yr old girl (24 month)

o 4 month old girl (3-6 month and size 2 diaper)
